On Monday this week the lovely Zaara Kohime inaugurated her new sim by hosting a fun party in the sim’s lounge, many bellydancers showed up for the occasion and we had lots of fun!
Zaara also invited us to discover the sim, telling us about elephants, cows and typical Indian markets, but the lag was too much for me to walk around, so I waited for the next day to go and explore. The sim is incredibly fascinating, the textures used are alone worth the visit, the colours are really warm, you can walk around in an atmosphere of serene tranquility and the sim radio plays traditional Indian music which I personally adore.
Of course I took the chance to do some shopping as well! I was tempted by the loveliest red evening dress that I will keep for a special occasion, and finally I found something I had been looking for a long time on SL, the perfect pair of hotpants! It seems silly but all I had bought were either too short or too long, the Mitya shorts come in 4 colours, black, red, blue and gold. They are decorated with a gold rose print and have cute prim tie up laces on the sides.
To remain in theme the song I have picked for you to listen today is by a band that was quite popular in the 90’s, Kula Shaker, they were from the UK and were strongly influenced by the sound of India. You can listen to the song Govinda here.
