Iki Ikarus from Dutch Touch has just released a new skinline called Jolie Pip. It comes in two lovely tones and it anticipates the long awaited release of the new skin, Jolie. Jolie Pip has 7 outstanding, bright makeups with two brows options, and can be worn with or without freckles.
Iki in the past couple of months has outdone herself and put out 3 different skinlines, one better than the other. I couldn’t miss this one either!

Pick of the day

I really love this little dress called Petite by *Linc*. What I like mostly about it is that it’s versatile, it’s definitely easy to mix and match. Petite comes in 11 different colours and textures, enough to go please any taste, and it can be worn with or without the garter.

Today I have decided to combine two very different styles together: Coco’s brand new asymmetrically cut leather jacket find a perfect yet unusual match in Lelutka’s new feather dress. The combination is even more daring with the addition of Coco’s work boots.

Look of the day

A small post today to introduce you to one of my favourite gowns from one of my favourite designers, the amazing Monica Outlander of Miamai.

This Italian designer is prolific and adventurous when it comes to create gowns or everyday designs, and her creations are always feminine, original and elegant.

Such is the case of this dress I am wearing, called Brianna Tulip a gown by the timeless lines but with a very modern floreal pattern on the skirt. I feel like a goddess whenever I wear Brianna, and I must say that heads WILL turn when you’ll wear this sophisticated piece.

Vampire Diva

Being a model in SL I am lucky to showcase the most glamourous outfits from the finest designers; and Avenue’s last show, the Halloween inspired Something Wicked is one of such events that I was proud to have been a part of.

Since Halloween near, and because I loved this outfit SO much here I am blogging all about it!

What impressed me of this great gown by Smooth Designs is its richness and the detail of the textures, fur, lace, brocade…as soon as I wore it it became an instant favourite!

The very gothic Rosenkavalier hat by Rozoregalia complete with a retro curly hairstyle is the perfect match for this dramatic outfit.

Black Swan – A Celebration

Jarl and I will be Djing at Black Swan for the next to last party of this beautiful sim.
As many of you already know, Black Swan will be closed on August 17th, and we didn’t want to miss the chance of throwing a party in this amazing setting!
One lucky avatar will also have the chance to win the ballerina statue by the Rezzables, as a memento to this beautiful place that we all love.

Miss Coco

I always say that I am a sucker for smooth, plain, uncomplicated designs, no wonder Chanel is one of my favourite brands in RL! When the ever lovely Miss Laura18 Street told me there was a store dedicated to Chanel in SL I couldn’t believe it and I had to pay a visit.

Coco & Co is not a large store, but you can find anything to dress yourself yourself as a perfect Coco girl. There’s the famous tailleurs and the little dresses like the one I am wearing in these pictures, plus shoes, purses, accessories…my head was spinning! All items are transfer but no copy, wich proved to be a godsend when I noticed a problem with my shoes. In fact the shoes come with a clicking heel sound that cannot be turned off. I contacted the creator, Miss Tanya Takacs  who promptly replied to me asking me to give her the shoes back, and after 5 minutes she replaced them with a new pair without the much hated clicky sound! She said in fact that many customers complained about this and she’s about to eliminate the sound from all of the shoes.

And if you can’t get enough of Chanel, I have a tip for you! In occasion of the BOSL Fashion Week which is being held this week in various locations, there will be a special tribute show dedicated to Coco Chanel and her work.  More than 20 designers such as SySy Chapman, Monica Outlander, Applonia Criss, Nardja Rousselot and Elettra Gausman just to name a few, will recreate their favourite Chanel designs in their own unique way. So on August 16th at 10am SLT be sure not to miss this special and unique fashion show, set in an amazing stage at the Patch Thibaud auditorium.

I appreciate the comments and I am glad that you enjoyed the show, we surely did have fun and it was an honour modelling such awesome creations, but trust me when I say it was not an easy task.

I would love it though if you would open your blog to comments, so that who has been criticized or also praised, could leave a note or a reply on your blog. For instance, I can confirm you that my smiling was not due to an emoter as I do not even own one, and I will make sure to use more creative poses for the next show.

Many Shades of Black

OMG! My lazy trend continues, it’s useless to keep on telling myself that I should blog more often…I have no time! Stupid RL job!

Anyways, today I beat the laziness and the lack of time and pulled together a quick and awkward look. Black it is, as always.

As always I am not happy with just one outfit, I must put together a whole bunch of them: there’s some Bare rose, Maiiki, Lelutka, Schadenfreude and more.

This prop is an amazing creation called Cornered by Torridwear that I had kept unused in my inventory for quite some time now, how silly was I? It is so brilliant, it comes with so many lovely poses and it’s simple and neat, just how I like things to be.
